Donations and pledged income had reached £40,000 on Saturday but by Monday they had jumped to £51,000. We’re aware of other likely donations due to come in shortly, but they are not included in this total for the first three weeks of the campaign. Thank you to everyone who has given so far, and to everyone else, do consider helping to increase this total by making a donation.
While we are focusing on securing larger donations, given the urgent deadline for this appeal, we are certainly keen to receive donations of any size as well. Indeed, we’ve already received many smaller donations both online and by cheque: as you can see, they are adding up to an impressive figure that demonstrates just how many people in Colchester and much further afield are concerned to make the most of the Roman Circus.
