The Arena Leisure Centre is holding a Jazz Night on Saturday 30th January at 7pm to raise funds for the appeal.
Tickets are £5, with £2 from each ticket being donated to the fund. Real Ale will cost £2 a pint and wine £2 a glass.
There is free parking, and it is a family friendly event, so children aged 5 and above are welcome.
