As of Friday it stood at £156,000 - just £14,000 short of the £170,000 target set by Colchester Borough Council at which point it will provide the final £30,000 to get us to our £200,000 target.

We'll announce the latest total as soon as we hear it from the Colchester Archaeological Trust here, on our Twitter account, and on our Facebook group. The Friday total didn't include the Caroline Lawrence event on Friday afternoon, or the Colchester United collection on Saturday which raised just over £1,000. So, it's getting very close.

What is the current status? What do we need to raise and by when? I am trying to keep up, and of course spreading the word!
Thank you!
