Help us clean up the Sergeants’ Mess!

As part of the process of making the Sergeants’ Mess more presentable and to keep on top of nature’s invasion, we are inviting volunteers to come and help us tidy up the frontage.

All are welcome to join us on Saturday 21 August from 9.00 am until lunchtime (or when we run out of steam!).

Jess Jephcott will be bringing a power strimmer to make the job easier but we do need other help to either carry the debris away or to get stuck in with loppers to remove the buddleia and weeds. Please bring brooms, brushes, scythes, gloves and energy!

Thank you.

Unfortunately, Sue and I are unable to help on Saturday 21st for two reasons. 1. We’ll be unavailable that day and 2. I have broken my collar bone so wouldn’t be much use to you.

I would imagine that some wag would say that the Sergeants should clean up their own mess!

Good luck Graham & Sue Ambridge

Doreen and Vic Freeman will be there.
